The Reason: "The Knowing Doing Gap"

We all know more than we do, we have great ideas, go to a seminar, get more great ideas - But the big question is - " How to get those great ideas translated into actions that will deliver the results we want on an ongoing basis?"

Athletes are familiar with the concept of 'muscle memory' - when they have trained sufficiently, their skills get into their muscles so they don't have to think - they just do. You have done the same thing with the gears in your car, you don't have to think about where reverse is, your muscles just do it for you.

In last month's newsletter I spoke about the "genius" state, the state of flow which involves being at one's best with all of one's resources available. One Neuro Semantic technique that we teach in the Accessing Personal Genius training is how to "Mind to Muscle". When you can mind to muscle, you can take any great idea and put it in your neurology so that it operates automatically.

What good idea or principle would you like to install?

One statistic, from the Xerox corpoation is that 87% of training is not retained after two-weeks unless there is follow up coaching.
